Water-Cooled Water Chillers

Water-cooled water chillers use a separate cooling tower to dissipate heat from the refrigerant coils instead of relying on ambient air like air-cooled systems. The heated water is then returned back to the chiller where it is cooled again.

These systems are more efficient than air-cooled systems since they can operate in all weather conditions without being affected by changes in ambient temperatures.

Absorption Chillers

Absorption chillers work differently than other types since they use energy sources such as natural gas or steam instead of electricity to drive their refrigeration cycle.

These systems are most commonly used in large-scale industrial applications where there is access to cheap or waste energy sources. They are also ideal for applications that require low noise levels since they don’t have any mechanical parts such as compressors or pumps.

Evaporative Cooling Systems

Evaporative cooling systems employ evaporative media such as wet pads through which hot process fluid is passed while a stream of cool air flows across them causing evaporation this cools down the fluid which can later be circulated back into the process lines

These systems consume less energy and are more cost-effective compared to other types even though their efficacy depends upon environmental factors such as humidity levels.
