It makes sense that your Jacuzzis would be affected if big bodies of water like lakes and swimming pools were heated by the sun and mild temperatures. Thus, we occasionally need to lower the Jacuzzis’ temperature. In order to maintain a 5-degree temperature for Jacuzzis, Dana water chillers are supplied in the FIFA Qatar Athletes training facility.
The temperature of the jacuzzis may be set too high, which is a straightforward reason why they overheat. See if it helps to set your Jacuzzi’s temperature to 98°F. Due to the increased ambient outdoor temperature, your Jacuzzis may still report a few degrees higher than your set.
Filter cycle duration settings that may be set too high are another frequent reason for summertime overheating. Jacuzzi filters are programmed to run twice daily, once every 12 hours.
Please follow these instructions to modify the filter cycle time settings for a 1 Pump System:
After the spa is powered on for 6 minutes, the first pre-set filter cycle starts. Twelve hours later, the second preset filter cycle starts. Programmable filter duration options include 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 hours. One hour is the standard filtering period. Press “Warm” then “Jets” to programme. Adjust by pressing “Warm or Cool.” Press “Jets” to end the current programme.
The weather and sun exposure could also be the third cause of your Jacuzzis heating up too much. It is more challenging to cool off when the surrounding air is hot and muggy or if your Jacuzzi is located in a sunny place with minimal shade. If you’ve tried the previous two tips and your tub is still too hot, try draining some of the hot water and adding some fresh, clean water to lower the temperature.

It’s typical to lower the temperature in your Jacuzzis during the summer. But the following approaches are suggested by Dana Water chillers as a means to cool it down:
- Instant Cooling: Add Water
Using tap-cold water can help your Jacuzzis cool down the quickest. Jacuzzis should have their electricity turned off, a few inches of water drained, and cold tap water added. When the Jacuzzis are full, turn them back on. Your Jacuzzis will be colder—possibly too cold!
- Fast Cooling: Remove the cover
The Jacuzzis don’t require water to be added in order to chill them. The Jacuzzi’s cover may easily be removed in the late afternoon and evening. As a result, the Jacuzzis will be able to cool down quickly—often in just one evening.
- Keep It Cool: Add a Gazebo
Add a gazebo for the ultimate summertime Jacuzzi experience. With one of the gazebos, you can get the ideal shade, more privacy, increased security, protection for your tub, and a luxurious feel. They are just as beneficial in the winter as they are in the summer (hint: no snow removal).
Why do Jacuzzis not cool down?
Since the Jacuzzis are designed to retain heat, your utility costs will benefit greatly. The insulation’s dual function of preserving heat and absorbing heat from the pumps to warm the water is its main function. As a result, it could be difficult to lower the thermostat in the summer.
