January 2019 : – Dr Birbal Singh Dana Conferred Prestigious Hind Rattan Award on eve of Indian Republic Day 2019
Dana Group Chairman, Dr Birbal Singh Dana has been conferred the prestigious Hind Rattan Award 2019 at the 38th International Congress of NRIs, The Mega Event (Generating Global Partnerships), which was held on 25-26-27th January 2019 in New Delhi- Chandigarh. The award function was held in Chandigarh, on the eve of Indian Republic Day 2019, amidst sparkling Drum Beating.
Instituted by the NRI Welfare Society of India, the Hind Rattan Awards honour high achievers of Indian origin from professional disciplines. Over the past 38 years, the NRI Welfare Society has become a strong bridge connecting people of Indian origin with India. Its focus is to “strengthen emotional bonds” between the diaspora and the country. NRI Welfare Society of India recognizes the work, contributions and achievements of NRIs, who left the country empty handed and made a respected place for themselves outside the country.
