DANA commissions heavy plate coil service centre at Ajman U.A.E

DANA Steel Processing Industry LLC is in process of commissioning a new steel coil service center in its Ajman branch .It will be fully operational by First week of April 2012.This is in addition to an existing Steel coil service centre in Dubai. With the addition of this DANA will have two coil service centers in UAE, one in Al Quoz Dubai(UAE) and other in Al Jurf -Ajman.This is besides it’s other 2 coil service centers in NCR India(Dana Steels Pvt Ltd). DANA will serve entire U.A.E and GCC markets through these multiple coil service centers. Heavy fabrication job works shall be catered through new service centre.
The new cut to length line will be able to process steel coils of maximum 40 MT in weight, in a thickness range of 5 mm to 20 mm, in coil width of 800 mm to 2,000 mm and of all grades including commercial, shipbuilding and high tensile. This enhances DANA’s capability of servicing coils .DANA has built capabilities to serve 0.5mm to 20 mm thickness steel coils. DANA Steel stated that this is one of the most modern cut to length lines in the region capable of handling heavy and wide coils. The production capacity of the line is about 15,000 MT per month.
DANA will be able to cater to many sectors like Transport, Haulage, Agriculture, Forestry, Engineering, Mining, Quarrying, Fishing, Recycling, Construction, Cement works and Glass works which are heavy users of thick steel plates fabrication .DANA shall provide a support to heavy fabrication sectors .DANA is already serving GCC markets and MENA region.
DANA Steel coil service centre at Dubai is handling Hot Dipped galvanized coils [GI], Prepainted galvanized coils [PPGI], Prepainted Aluminum [PPAL], Aluzinc coils [AZ], Electro-galvanized coils [EG], Aluminum coils [AL], Cold Rolled coils [CR] & Hot Rolled coils [HR], Cold rolled Annealed coil, Prepainted Steel Coil, Prepainted galvanized steel coil. State-of-art facilities comprises fully automatic IGBT technology based Cut-to-length, two high precision slitting line and a crane for handling heavy duty coils. Centre is serving U.A.E, GCC, MENA region which comprises Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt. Jordan, Kenya. Centre has also served certain Asian regions including Pakistan and Afghanistan.
