We Make Specialized Water Chillers for Agricultural applications like Vertical Farming, Hydroponics and Gardens. Hydroponics, which is scientific technique for growing agricultural produce without soil. Seeds are planted in a sterile, soil-less growing environment and then grown in nutrient-rich water. This nutrient-rich Water is recycled, and everything from air and water temperature through to humidity and lighting are controlled to create the perfect growing environment.In the Harsh Middle East Climate the temperatures of the nutrient water reaches to as high as 50 degree Celcius in the reservoir tank.DANA has already supplied it’s process water chillers to cool the water in reservoir tanks to user defined temperatures of 18-20 degrees Celcius for the purpose of High quality Farming Yields and Protecting the Crops. Nutrient solutions and irrigation water is most effective within a certain temperature range. If the liquid is too hot the plant can be damaged by hot water on sensitive root systems. If the liquid is too cold the plants have similar problems and reservoirs and piping can get frozen and burst.Warm water temperatures in hydroponics can lead to bacteria growth causing root rot and all sorts of problems, but the benefits of cooler water are not just avoiding bacteria, it also can hold more oxygen leading to faster more vigorous root growth as well as using fewer nutrients as the cooler water. By utilizing the hydroponics method for growing their vegetables, it allows the producer to accurately manage, both water and nutrients as required by the plants throughout their growing stage, from when the seeds are first planted through to final harvest.
